Portugal Retreat

13.-18.07. | S. TEOTÓNIO, PORTUGAL
WITH JESIRA, BRANDI AND HANNAH

What to expect

In the open landscapes of southern Portugal, Monte da Orada in São Teotónio offers a spacious, grounding setting where practice and nature move as one. With the ocean nearby and the land stretching wide in every direction, this retreat invites a return to rhythm, simplicity, and inner listening.

Mornings are devoted to a two-hour sadhana, with seated meditation and guided pranayama to clear and energize the system. As awareness settles, the practice gradually expands into a strong and deeply focused movement practice.

The pace of the afternoons is intentionally slow, leaving room for rest, integration, and time outdoors. Long meals, walks through the countryside, and moments of stillness allow the practice to sink in beyond the mat.

As the sun sets, the atmosphere shifts into something more expressive and communal. Evenings are filled with kirtan, rhythm, and dance, where sound and movement become a shared language. Voices rise, bodies move freely, and the day closes in celebration, openness, and heart-led connection.

This retreat at Monte da Orada is an invitation to immerse yourself fully into practice and community.
